What matters to you?

What matters to you? Tell us your priorities!

What matters to you picture

We put residents at the heart of everything we do. That’s why it’s so important that we hear the views from residents and stakeholder organisations about what matters most to you as we plan for the future.

Customer satisfaction with our services is at a record high at almost 90%, satisfaction. Residents satisfaction with the value for money they get for the rent they pay is at record levels, as is satisfaction with the neighbourhoods they live in.

We’re building more homes than ever before and investing all the rent residents pay back into managing and maintaining council homes in Nottingham.

We’re re-letting homes more quickly – helping the thousands who are on our waiting list to get much needed and we’re dealing with incidents of anti-social behaviour better.

But we want to do so much more

Our current Corporate Plan comes to an end next year so we're now starting to set out work priorities and future priorities for the next three to five years. We’re once again looking for the help of residents and stakeholders to make sure we’re getting the priorities right by giving you a say on what they should be.

We know we need to continue to invest money to keep homes to a good standard and we want to do more to improve neighbourhoods and bring communities together.

We also want to continue building new homes, built to the highest specifications that will provide much needed housing for generations to come.

Chair of the Board, Malcolm Sharp MBE said: “As we plan for the future, we know we’ll continue to face challenges. Public services in general will continue to be squeezed. More of our residents will be impacted by welfare reform changes and we must support them to make sure they are paying their rent so we can invest all of this money back into your services. Issues such as supporting residents to access our services online and combatting fuel poverty will continue to be a challenge.”

Tell us what you think

To help us make sure we get this right we want to know what you think is important and what you think we should be focussing on. We’ll use what you tell us to make sure we continue to focus on your priorities.

You can tell us by clicking here and completing this short questionnaire.

We need your responses no later than Thursday 31 August.
