Nick Murphy
Chief Executive

Nick is an experienced housing professional who joined Nottingham City Homes in 2011. As well as leading the company overall, steering and influencing the development and management of council housing in the city, Nick represents Nottingham at a national level. He’s a member of the National Federation of ALMOs (NFA) Executive Steering Group and the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Policy Advisory Committee. He’s also a trustee of a local charity that helps to tackle disadvantage in the city.

Nick lives in Nottingham with his family. He enjoys travel, live music, sport and making the most of the city’s thriving cultural events and activities.

 

Steve Feast
Director of Housing

With a career spanning more than 25 years in housing, Steve has worked with ALMOs, local authorities and housing associations across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West in a wide range of roles. 

He has extensive experience at national level, and has worked with the National Federation of ALMOs (NFA) and government departments on the removal of the Housing Revenue Account Debt Cap. He has a BA (Hons) in Housing Studies and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Outside work, Steve is an FA qualified football coach and is heavily involved in junior football. He also enjoys live music, and in normal times Rock City is one of his favourite venues.

 

Alison Brown
Director of Property

Bringing over 32 years’ social housing experience to the role, Alison has a wealth of knowledge of the repairs and maintenance sector. With a master’s in business and a degree in Housing Management and Development, she has held multiple senior roles in the social housing sector.

Alison is an experienced change and  transformation specialist adept at understanding organisational context/service requirements and converting them into innovative solutions and pragmatic actions.
