Learn new skills and build your confidence – become one of our new Board members this year!
We’re looking for tenants or leaseholders to join the company at Board level – could this be you?
You'll have a real drive and enthusiasm to deliver great services to our residents. The opportunity would be suitable if you’re already involved with your local Tenant and Resident Association, or have experience in housing or other service industries. Equally important is knowledge of the city and the desire to enhance our residents’ health and wellbeing.
Support every step of the way
We're recruiting for our new tenant or leaseholder Board Members now, and while joining the Board might sound a daunting idea we’re here to help you every step of the way. The training is friendly and informal, and looks at developing communication and teamwork skills, as well as finding out more about the work of Nottingham City Homes and becoming a Board member.
If you think you’d like to go ahead, there’s free training to teach you new skills and build your confidence.
We'd love to hear from you and tell you a bit more about Nottingham City Homes.
Call Cathy Dobb, Head of Governance on 0115 746 9161 and she will arrange a one to one information meeting with you. If you currently volunteer on one of our panels, you may not have to give up that role if you become a Board Member as we will look to see how we can support you in this.
If after that meeting, and if you’re a tenant or a leaseholder, you’re over 18 and you would like to apply for this opportunity, please email your CV and a personal statement in confidence, of no more than 2 sides of A4, explaining how you meet the job description and person specification by 5pm, Friday 11 August
