Interpretation and translation

We have a range of interpretation and translation services to help you communicate with us.

We are committed to offering all our customers the highest standards of service. We know that many tenants and leaseholders don't speak English as their first language, or can have difficulty reading our publications.

If this is you, ask us for help. We will provide interpreters to help us communicate with you - and if this is not suitable can can arrange for our publications to be translated into different languages, or provided in other formats (such as on tape or CD, or in large print).

You'll find advice about how to access this service on the back of all our publications and in our area housing offices.

As our translation service is a request service, it may take up to 28 days to have your item translated, so please bear this in mind.

If you do not undertstand a letter we have sent you, whether it is about your rent or tenancy, please contact us. They can arrange for an interpreter to meet you and a member of our staff to explain the information to you in person.

If you have a simple sentence or paragraph you want translating, try using our on-line translator on the right of this page.
