Learn more about life in sheltered housing

Are you, or a member of your family, looking for a new home that offers independent living with the extra support you need for greater peace of mind?

If this is you, then look no further than Nottingham City Homes’ sheltered housing schemes.

There is a chance to learn more about sheltered housing at an event being held on Wednesday 1st July at Crossfield Court, Crossfield Drive, Top Valley, Nottingham, from 10.30am till 2pm.

Visitors will get the chance to view one of our empty sheltered properties, learn more about the benefits of the schemes and talk to current tenants about living at Crossfield.

A group of students from Bigwood School has been working closely with tenants at Crossfield on their gardening project. They will also be at the event to show the work they have been doing.

Barbeque food and snacks will also be on offer as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee.

We have 63 Sheltered Housing complexes like Crossfield Court across the city. They range from high-rise blocks to corridor low rise blocks like Crossfield. These schemes give people, usually over the age of 60, the chance to live independently with support from our dedicated sheltered housing teams. All the accommodation is self-contained, which means you have your own front door. We do not have bedsits or accomodation with shared facilities.

For more information call the sheltered housing team on 0115 915 1616, through minicom on 0115 1616 or by email:shelteredhousing@nottinghamcityhomes.org.uk You can also find information here on the Nottingham City Homes website.
