Efficiency East Midlands continues to grow!

Corby Borough Council is the latest organisation to join Efficiency East Midlands (EEM).

Developed last year as a Procurement and Benchmarking Consortium of housing providers, EEM is dedicated to saving millions of pounds across the region through collaborative procurement. With strength in numbers, the consortium can demand not only the best price, but the highest quality products and services.

The ever expanding membership of this consortium has now risen to 16 housing providers, representing an overall housing stock of 136,000 properties across the East Midlands. The consortium now includes:

  • Nottingham City Homes
  • Derby Homes
  • A1 Housing
  • Ashfield Homes
  • Newark & Sherwood Homes
  • Tuntum Housing Association
  • Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing
  • Rykneld Homes
  • Gedling Homes
  • Mansfield District Council
  • Nottingham Community Housing Association
  • Acis Group
  • Chesterfield Borough Council
  • Derwent Living
  • LHA-ASRA
  • Corby Borough Council.

Efficiency East Midlands is currently working on tenders for the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, with a value of £180million to support members across the region.

Mark Johnson Chairman of EEM said:

Efficiency East Midlands has the potential to be one of the best organisations of its kind - and the doors aren’t closed!

I hope that other regional housing associations, councils and ALMOs will join us to take advantage of an opportunity that’s not to be missed.
