Learn more about LGBT History Month

A special event will take place this week to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History Month.

Nottingham City Homes' LGBT Employee Forum is hosting the event on Friday 25th February in the Tenant Resource Centre at 14 Hounds Gate, Nottingham, from 11am to 3pm.

As part of the day there will be a presentation at 1pm from Rainbow Heritage. It will look at the history of the LGBT community in Nottingham and the problems they have faced with homophobia.

Food will be provided and there will also be a chance for you to win a Victoria Centre voucher by completing our quiz.

Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender History Month takes place every year in February. It celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community.
