Homelessness

To be seen as homeless you need to fit a number of criteria.

You may be in a situation where you are, or will soon become, homeless, for example, if you have been given notice to quit by your landlord and have nowhere else to go.

The homelessness team at Nottingham City Council will be able to help and advise you on what to do, including helping you to find temporary or alternative accommodation, whether short or long term. They will also look into the reasons for you being homeless, for example to establish whether you are intentionally homeless or not.

All their help is free and confidential. So remember, if you think you may soon be homeless, contact the Homelessness section of Nottingham City Council. Don't wait until it is too late.
