Get more involved
You can spend more time helping us to improve our service to you.
You can:
- join an area panel
- join a recognised Tenant and Resident Association (TRA)
- become a Board member. To do this you will need to stand for election. Tenants and leaseholders then vote and you will serve, usually, for 3 years.
- become a tenant services inspector
- be part of the Tenant and Leaseholder Congress
How we can help
If you want to get involved, we will give you all the support you need.
We will give you:
- training tailored to your needs
- support and paid expenses
- meeting rooms in appropriate venues
- start up grants for new TRAs
- grants for running established TRAs
- one off grants for community events
- a dedicated resource centre.
Regional groups
We are also members of two regional groups looking at networking, sharing ideas and swapping information on best practice.
Find out more about them:
- The East Midlands Tenant Participation Forum (EMTPF)
- The Nottinghamshire Tenants and Officers Network (NTON)
