Training
As a company, we are committed to developing our tenants and leaseholders.
We want to maximise the number of customers involved in delivering our services by developing tenant and leaseholder skills, knowledge and confidence in company business.
This training programme has been developed through discussions with a working group of Nottingham City Homes tenants and leaseholders.
Nottingham City Homes is also part of a Nottinghamshire training consortium, facilitated by training provider PEP (Priority Estates Project), with other partner social housing providers. This means a wider range of training days each year, with free delegate places available at each session. Course details are shown at the end of this page when they are on, in our newsletter, News from Nottingham City Homes.
Our training principles
We want to:
- develop a comprehensive training programmme so tenants and leaseholders have the knowledge to work well together in their local area
- develop a clear process for identifying training needs and monitoring the effectiveness of the training provided
- make tenant involvement training more accessible
- help tenant and leaseholder representatives influence our company training programme
- develop a training calendar so tenants and leaseholders can let each other know about training courses
Who can go on the training?
Our training is available to:
- all tenants and leaseholders of Nottingham City Homes. This training is free!
- tenants, leaseholders, officers and Board members of any landlord organisation on an invited basis. These will be offered at a nominal rate to cover expenses.
