Going green

At Nottingham City Homes, we are committed to minimising the effect we have on the environment, while improving the quality of life for our customers.

We have an Environmental Policy that outlines what we will do to protect the environment. You can find out more from this page about what we are doing:

• We are now surveying lettable properties to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). This will tell us and new tenants how energy efficient the property they are bidding for is
• Offering advice and guidance about how to save money and energy in your home
• Carrying out work on insulation, windows and heating systems in thousands of homes across the city to make properties more energy efficient through our decent homes scheme

We will also be helping to demystify some of the concepts around climate change, energy efficiency, carbon footprints and much more.
