Improving Nottingham's neighbourhoods - programme 2009 - 2013
The Improving Nottingham’s Neighbourhoods (INN) programme maps out all the planned maintenance work we will carry out on our estates over the next five years.
Planned maintenance work includes:
- Boundary fences and gates
- Timber doors and frames
- Timber windows
- Garage doors and frames
- Rendered wall and brickwork finishes
- Eaves and rain water goods
- Paths and drying areas.
We will be linking this up with the Secure Warm Modern programme, being rolled out across the city over the next five years. For example, as we move into a particular part of the city to fit properties with new windows and doors, we will look at what planned maintenance work can be done alongside it.
To make sure tenants have their say in the way we deliver this programme of works, we will work with our Tenant Service Inspectors. They will help us to highlight the areas that need the most work and should be given priority on each estate. This will all then be taken into account when the surveying team maps out the overall plans for each individual area.
