Leaseholders

Leaseholders are customers who have exercised their right to buy or who have bought their property on the open market. They have therefore bought their lease.

We have more than 1,000 leaseholders across the whole of the city of Nottingham. Leasehold properties are mainly flats but some are maisonettes, bedsits and houses.

Being a leaseholder

If you are a leaseholder, you are buying the inside of your property. Think of it as owning all the property from the plaster on the walls inwards.

You can get most of the services we give to our tenants, including internal repairs and gas maintenance services to check your gas fire and boiler. As a leaseholder, if you use one of these services you will be recharged on a separate invoice.
