There are lots of easy ways to pay your rent depending on how you want to pay and your circumstances.

This section tells you more about how you can pay your council tax, housing rent and housing benefit overpayments. You can make these payments in any of the following ways.

Direct Debit

direct debit logoThis is one of the easiest ways you can pay your rent, council tax and other payments. More than 3,500 of our tenants now pay in this way. It's easy to set up and secure. Pick up the form from your area housing office, call us on 0115 915 4920 or download your direct debit form here.

On-line

Nottingham City Council runs a 24-hour secure internet payment service. You can make various different payments using this secure site with most major credit or debit cards. Use the housing rents link. Pay your rent on-line here.

Over the telephone

You can pay over the automated freephone hotline on 0800 052 0173 at any time or on 0115 915 4920 between 8.15am to 5.50 pm Monday to Friday. You can pay by most sorts of credit and debit cards.

In cash or by cheque

Our nine main housing offices all accept payments in this way. You can also pay at any of the Paypoint outlets in the city.
