Your neighbourhood

Your neighbourhood

Where you live isn’t just about inside your home – it’s about your garden, your neighbours, the street you live on and the area you live in.

It’s about things like feeling safe walking home in the dark, about getting a good nights’ sleep because it’s quiet in the street outside, it’s about being able to park your car easily and not having to sidestep rubbish on the pavements.

We want to create homes and places where people want to live – it’s not just about individual homes (although they’re important), it’s about our estates, our communities and our neighbourhoods.

Anti-social behaviour

We take an uncompromising stance on ASB so that our tenants and residents can enjoy peace and quiet in their own home and feel safe and secure in the area they live.

Around your home

Here, we look at the area around your home – your garden, the street you live in, and your neighbourhood.

Domestic abuse

One in four women and one in six men will be a victim of domestic abuse in their lifetime. We’re committed to believing survivors of domestic abuse, and we can offer extra security and specialist support.

CommUNITY Mediation service

The Nottingham City Homes CommUNITY mediation service helps people deal with issues such as noise disputes and problems around children’s behaviour, parking, pets or fences.

Hate crime

Hate crime is harassment motivated by the hatred of another person because of their race, gender, colour, religion, disability, age or sexuality.

Building a Better Nottingham

We’re working with Nottingham City Council to deliver the Building a Better Nottingham programme, which is seeing hundreds of new homes being built across the city.
