Best Garden Competition 2017 Special Cup winner

The annual best garden competition has been held in Nottingham for more than 80 years. It recognises the genuine pride taken by our tenants and leaseholders in looking after their gardens. 

You don't have to be a champion gardener to enter, what we're looking for it enthusiasm, an eye for detail and originality.

Great prizes

Everyone who wins a category will get the prize cup for their category to proudly display at home, and a replica to keep forever. There will also be prizes or gardening gifts equivalent for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in category.

Best horticultural enterprise

For people or groups who're growing their own produce and eating / donating what they grow. 

Best container display

Including hanging baskets, tubs, window boxes, balconies and planters.

Best community garden

for groups of people working on a garden together. This includes Independent Living communal gardens.
