Could you become a CommUNITY Mediator?

CommUNITY Mediator Recruitment

It takes a special kind of person to be a volunteer CommUNITY Mediator...

You might be the first person that somebody open up to about what's been happening and the effect it's having on them.

There's always two sides to a story. You'll need to listen, encourage, sometimes challenge but always remain impartial.

As a CommUNITY Mediator you'll help people in conflict come to agreements and better understanding. It's a rewarding role - you'll help people resolve neighbour disputes and help them to enjoy their homes again.

Could it be you? We're looking for new volunteer mediators to join us.

The training course starts Saturday 12 May and will run over five full Saturdays, 10am to 4.30pm. The training is FREE, but you must be able to commit to completing the whole course and be available to carry out mediation case work post-training.

You'll get a nationally recognised qualification in mediation skills after successfully completing the course.

If this could be you, we'd love to hear from you. Call us on 0115 746 9138 or send us an email.
