Tallest sunflower competition 2012
This new category in the garden competition for 2011 is the chance for all school children in the Nottingham city area to grow their best sunflower.
Calling all Nottingham City primary school children...
Polish your green fingers (and thumbs) and enter Nottingham City Homes' Tallest Sunflower Competition 2012!
This year we are challenging your school to beat Milford Primary School, who managed to grow a sunflower that was 2.62 metres high!
If your sunflower is the tallest, you will be in with a chance to win gardening equipment for your school - and you'll be able to boast to your class mates, teachers, family and friends that you have grown the tallest sunflower in Nottingham.
If you're a first, second or third prize winner, you'll also receive an invitation to our prestigious Best Garden Competition award ceremony, where you will be presented with a trophy and certificate.
Help make your school win first prize and order your free seeds today!
To request your seeds to enter please:

The closing date for you to send your sunflower measurements to us is Friday 20th July 2012 and we will let you know who the winner is in September.
