One of the many benefits of being a Nottingham City Homes tenant is FREE access to our Tenant Academy.

The Tenant Academy is designed especially for you and your family, providing a valuable opportunity to grow your potential and your neighbourhood.

We’re keen for the Tenant Academy to be as accessible as possible that’s why we aim to offer a wide variety of training and skills development opportunities in various community settings around the city.

Just pick any course you like and you can register for free – the choice is all yours. So, whether you want to develop new skills, do something just for fun, get qualifications or prepare for volunteering then the Nottingham City Homes Tenant Academy is here to help!

Sharon's story

As well as being Treasurer of her local Tenants’ and Residents’ Association, Sharon  is a volunteer ACE Inspector, carrying out reality checks and mystery shopping exercises to see if NCH is performing well.

Sharon wanted to improve her IT skills, so she came along to do a course at the Tenant Academy. Since then, she’s done other courses, and says, “It’s like being taught in a family environment. It’s different. It’s not like a college – it’s more like one big family. The courses are so much fun!”
