Top tips for a tidy garden

Top tips for a tidy garden

Particularly during spring and summer your garden can grow quickly and become difficult to manage. Follow these top tips to help keep it tidy:

  • If you have grass, cut it regularly to stop it from becoming overgrown
  • Weeds can quickly take hold of your garden. By weeding a little, and often, you'll be able to keep on top of them before they get out of control
  • Trim any hedges or bushes regularly - particularly in the spring and summer when they're growing at their fastest
  • Don't leave waste or rubbish in your gardens. Take them to your local tip or, for large items, call Nottingham City Council's Bulky Waste collection service on 0115 915 2000. They'll remove many items FREE of charge

Report it!

If you spot an untidy garden, tell your Housing Patch Manager. Or email us or text REPORTASB to 80800 followed by your name and address. All reports will be treated in confidence.
